Sharing Copies of the VP’s Evaluation/Recommendation with all previous review levels
Updated onArticleAs part of the RTP Process, one of your responsibilities as an evaluator is to share copies of your Evaluation/Recommendation statement with all the review levels who reviewed them earlier in the evaluation process. This responsibility is important for transparency and to keep all levels of review informed of how each faculty member was assessed. As with all actions performed in the Interfolio platform, make sure that you are signed in, have located and opened the case(s) in which you are planning to work. If you have questions about how to perform any of the actions listed above, please refer to the earlier articles on those subjects. Log in options Finding your Assigned Interfolio Cases Currently there is no way within the Interfolio platform to perform this action simultaneously in multiple cases. This process will need to be performed individually in every assigned case.

Conducting the Rebuttal Period Through Interfolio
Updated onChecklistAs part of the RTP Evaluation process each faculty member has the right to rebut the Evaluation/Recommendation composed by the Dean. This decision must be indicated by the faculty member using the FAR RTP Rebuttal Form, and that form, along with any rebuttal statements must be uploaded to Interfolio using the process outlined below. It is the Dean's responsibility to ensure that each faculty member under review in your department receives a copy of the appropriate documentation by the published deadline in the FAR Annual RTP Timetables. The Rebuttal Period lasts for 10 CALENDAR DAYS after a copy of the appropriate documentation is provided to the faculty member under review

Sharing Copies of Faculty Rebuttals with all previous review levels
Updated onArticleAs part of the RTP Evaluation Process, one of your responsibilities as the an evaluator is to provide copies of any rebuttals filed by the faculty members under review during the rebuttal stage for your review step. This responsibility is important for transparency during the evaluation and it can be done through the Interfolio platform. The Faculty Member under review will need to complete and upload a copy of FAR RTP Rebuttal Forms within the 10-calendar day rebuttal period that you established for your completed Performance Evaluation. If the rebuttal period was set up correctly, Interfolio will send you a notification to your fullerton.edu inbox from California State University Fullerton from <[email protected]> when the faculty member under review uploads his or her completed rebuttal form. Once you receive that notification log into Interfolio, open the case and read what the faculty member's response was to the documentation that you shared.

How to Forward your Cases to the Next Review Level
Updated onArticleAs an RTP Reviewer there are 2 methods to move submitted RTP Portfolios to the next review level, by the annual deadline published in the FAR evaluation time tables. Once cases are forwarded in the RTP cycle the review committees who had access to the case will lose it as the case continues on its journey.

New Process for RTP Checklist
Updated onArticlePrior to the 2023-2024 academic year, there was a part of the RTP process that required each faculty member under review to fill out a "Portfolio Checklist". Once complete this checklist was either, during the years that this process was completely paper, handed directly to the Department Chair in his or her office, or emailed to the Department Chair, as it was during the years before this process was completely digital. The Department Chair would then use this checklist to certify the completeness of the portfolio and sign off on it, before it entered into the review process workflow. Starting in the 2023-2024 Academic Year, this document will no longer be a requirement that has to be completed and sent to the Department Chair separately. It will now be incorporated into the Interfolio packet itself, as the very first section that the faculty member under review sees.

Completing the Required Interfolio Form in the “Required Items Box”
Updated onArticleOnce you have checked the RTP portfolio for completeness and any missing items have been successfully submitted, you will need to fill out the required Interfolio form to confirm that the portfolio is complete This form replaces the checklist that used to be emailed to you by each faculty member This form will be available on the "Required Items" box on the "Case Details" page of each assigned case

Holding Meetings & Sharing PTR Statements
